Mounting height decides more here than screen size. A camera above the rear window of a travel trailer looks down the length of the rig and shows you the site behind it. A camera at bumper level on a motorhome shows you the bollard you are about to meet and very little else. Most owners end up with both, which is why the monitors on this page take a second camera and split the screen between them.
If your rig was built in the last several years, look above the rear window before you buy anything. A factory bracket with power already run to it, the pre-wired arrangement most manufacturers now fit, turns the installation into a plug and two screws. The kit made for that bracket is on this page, and the pig tail plug that joins the cables sits on the parts shelf for a few dollars.
