Terms and Conditions

yakrystore.com is the Yakry catalog: what we make, which piece fits which system, and what each one costs. Reading the pages means taking them on the terms below.

Prices and figures

Prices come out of our own catalog and move on the schedule set out on the updates page. Between two updates a figure can drift. The price at the checkout governs, and where the two disagree the checkout is right.

Screen size, video resolution, cable length, weatherproof rating, signal range and the number of cameras a monitor takes describe the equipment as it is built and listed. They are not a promise about your vehicle. An ingress rating is measured in a test rig, and a range measured across an open yard is not the same distance through an aluminum trailer with a fridge in the middle of it.

Where the sale happens

Payment, delivery and returns are handled by our retail partner at checkout, not on this site.

The warranty, the returns window and the delivery date live there as well. We take no payments, hold no stock, ship no parcels and process no returns, and nothing on these pages is an offer to do any of that.

Fitting

A camera hands you a picture of the ground behind the vehicle. It does not brake, it does not warn, and it shows only what falls inside the lens: a toddler squatting against the bumper, a post below the frame, a cyclist coming in from the side are all outside it at the moment you need them. The federal rear-visibility rule exists because people are hit by reversing vehicles every year, and the agencies behind it still ask drivers to walk the vehicle, to look over the shoulder and to back up slowly with any camera fitted. Take everything on this site as an extra pair of eyes and nothing more.

The federal rear-visibility rule behind that paragraph is linked in full on how we update the catalog. The fitting is yours or your installer's. Tapping a reversing light, drilling a panel, feeding a cable through a bulkhead and cutting into a factory loom can all go wrong, and some of it will cost you a vehicle warranty. An auto electrician will do the job in an hour if you would rather not.

The pages themselves

The text, the photographs and the layout here are ours. Quote a paragraph with a link back and welcome. Republishing the catalog is another matter.
